  • Sodium Valproate/Valproic Acid
  • 1) Prevention and treatment of epilepsy (absence seizure, tonic-clonic seizure, clonic seizures, psychomotor seizure, and mixed seizure)
    2) Treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder
    -In regard to manic episodes, safety and efficacy of this drug are not established for long-term use of 3 weeks or more. Therefore, a regular drug re-evaluation is needed for long-term drug use.
